Placing an Order With abodent.com

All orders must be placed online via our automated checkout system. Items/products/goods within our catalogue which are added to the basket can then be processed for payment and shipping.

Placing an order will require the acceptance of these terms and condition and will create a binding contract between the customer and abodent.com. You will be making an offer to abodent.com to purchase the items/products/goods and delivery service selected on the basket/one-page-checkout page at the time of confirming the order.

Once an order has been placed we will send you an email detailing your order including prices, quantities, delivery costs, VAT, billing and shipping information and information regarding your rights as detailed in the Office of Fair Trading's ‘The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000’.

This email is a confirmation that your order has been received but not a confirmation of acceptance by abodent.com. We try to ensure the accuracy of our website but can not guarantee that we will be able to fulfil your order at this point. Please refer below regarding stock levels.

You will then be able to complete payment for your order. Once payment is complete and confirmed by abodent.com you will receive a payment confirmation email and we will begin the dispatch process.

Once your item is dispatch you will receive a dispatch notification email.

Orders will be completed as soon as possible but no later than 30 days from the day the order was submitted unless we are unable to acquire stock within this time.

All orders are considered individual and treated separately.

Cancellations

You are free to cancel any order prior to the point of dispatch if it is reasonable to do so. Any payments made will be refunded accordingly. abodent.com are free to cancel any order prior to the point of dispatch. Any payments made will be refunded accordingly.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

In accordance with the Office of Fair Trading's, The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations’ Cooling of Period, you are allowed to return any order within 14 days after the day that you receive the order.

Returns/exchanges can only be made if the products are in perfect condition, unused, undamaged and still boxed if they were boxed on arrival. In this case we will refund you the cost of your order or exchange the products as soon as possible but no later than 30 days after we receive the returns notification.

In cases where the exchange items are of a higher value, we will invoice you accordingly. In cases where the exchange items are of a lower value, we will credit you accordingly.

You must inform us by email, our 'Contact Us' page or via our Support Ticket system (for account holders only) that you wish to return the product.

You may be asked to complete a returns form. You must pay the cost of returning the item(s)/product(s)/goods. We ask that all returns are sent via a recorded delivery service or that you obtain a certificate of posting which are available at the Royal Mail Post Offices free of charge.

You will be responsible for the items until we receive them. For further details on the returns process please see our Customer Service page.

In the very unlikely case that we provide substitutes because the goods originally ordered are not available and you are unhappy with this alternative we will provide a full refund or exchange and pay the cost of the return postage.

In the case of goods being damaged on arrival we will refund or provide replacement items accordingly, we may ask that you return the damaged items at our expense or provide evidence of the damage. If your order arrives and is clearly damaged we ask that you do not provide a signature where applicable.

Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted on abodent.com are in British Pound Sterling (£).

We use two world leading order processing services to collect money from our customers:

  • Paypal.co.uk
  • Moneybookers.com

Both enable payment by bank account, credit, debit cards and maestro. You may also pay for your order by cheque or postal order.  Please contact us if you would like to make payment in this way.

Payment will be taken prior to the dispatch of the order.

International orders may be subject to import duties which are the responsibility of the customer.

TAX and VAT

We currently do not collect VAT on our orders.

Stock and Availability

All items listed on abodent.com are in generally in stock and available for immediate dispatch unless otherwise noted. Product not in stock will be clearly marked as not in stock.

You are able to leave an email address with us for notification of when an out of stock item comes back into stock.

If you request a unit number greater than the stock level you will be informed when you attempt to add these items/products/goods to your basket prior to checkout and payment.

Delivery

Delivery price and delivery time guidelines are available on the Delivery Information page of abodent.com.

We take every effort to dispatch orders in a reasonable time. You will be notified by email when your order is dispatched.

Once dispatched, orders are handled and delivered by third parties and are no longer the responsibility of abodent.com.

Delivery times provided at any point are guidelines and we can not be held liable for any loss or damages caused to you directly or indirectly by late or early deliveries.

You will be notified of the exact postage cost during the checkout process prior to payment.

Inaccuracies

We take great care when describing our products, pricing, delivery and stock availability.

When describing good we try to provide unbiased and accurate information but please note that this information is for guidance purposes only and is not binding.

Product measurements are shown in centimetres. Measurements are taken from the widest point when applicable.

Product reviews submitted by customers are reviewed by abodent.com staff before being published and intended for entertainment purposed only.

We provide a “Have you spotted a mistake?” feature located on every page of abodent.com which allows you to inform us of any errors you have noticed. We reserve the right to update product information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order which is deemed to contain products listed with an unreasonable level of inaccuracy such as but not limited to, incorrect photos, description or pricing.

abodent.com will not be held responsible or liable for any inaccuracies occurring within our product descriptions, product photos, product prices, delivery times, delivery times or customer reviews.

Photos and Colour

We do our utmost to present our products in a realistic and true to life manner. We attempt to provide at least three images of each product. The colour of some products may be reproduced differently on different screens or when printed.

You may request more photos of any product we have in stock but we can not guarantee that we can fulfil this request.

Legal Information

All customers of abodent.com are protected as normal by consumer law of England, including The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 (c. 35), The Consumer Protection Act 1987 (c.43) and The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Any ideas, suggestions, photos, images or similar materials received by abodent.com will be accepted on the understanding that all you waiver all proprietary claims and/or intellectual rights unless otherwise agreed.

We will never disclose your name or contact details without your prior agreement unless we are required to do so by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless abodent.com and its subsidiaries, suppliers, co-branders or other partners, and employees from any claim or demand of losses, expenses, damages or costs including reasonable solicitor’s fees resulting from the violation of these Terms and Conditions by you or any other person using your internet account/connecting to receive or transmit data from or to this website.
